Electronic Health Record – Information collection and Use:

Customers and Authorized Users of NovelVox HealthCare Solutions are responsible for determining the uses and disclosures of patient’s medical information maintained in the EHR. The use of EHR must be in accordance with state and federal medical privacy laws including the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).

Any medical information that NovelVox receives with EHR, is kept secured to protect the privacy of patients.

Customers may choose to provide limited/full access to the NovelVox Healthcare Solution to authorized users for better interaction and fulfillment of certain tasks. In such cases, customers are responsible for the disclosure of the content of the patient’s medical record maintained in the EHR and the portion of the EHR data made open to view in NovelVox Healthcare Solutions.

Information we may collect on a limited basis:

1. Phone numbers stored in the EHR to pull patient records for identification and verification purposes
2. MRN (or patient identifier) stored in the EHR to pull other necessary details such as billing, past medical history, etc.
3. Appointments specific to the patient’s medical record

Novelvox is committed to ensuring that no information provided by EHR will be shared, sold, or rented to a third party.

What we do with the information we gather:

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for internal record keeping. We may use the information to improve our products and services. We may periodically send promotional emails, using the email address which you have provided, on new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting. From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customize the website according to your interests

Children under the age of 13:

Our website is not intended for children under the age of 13. We knowingly do not collect or maintain information about anyone under 13 years of age.
